In Windows 2003 Server with two NICs creating LAN-A and LAN-B. I's like to make Windows router all packages thorugh LAN-B NIC In case of LAN-A failure. Any one knows how to do this. I added a deafult route to LAN-B NIC with higher METRIC. In some server works with 60 sec delay and in some server don't work.

If I understand you correctly what you propose to do simply will not work and will cause you all sorts of problems due to network loops.

If lan A dies, like the switch dies, nothing on lan A will be talking to anything least of all the server.

Some very few nics might support that. As above the networking is also an issue.

Might have to run a virtual machine that would do that. I think you need some big bucks to get enterprise 2003.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
