Comment: Hi guys, please can you help me with this VERY annoying problem. I am using VMWARE wrokstation and I'm trying to connect a virtual Windows 2003 Server Domain to a couple of XP Pro workstations. Every time I type the name of the address I get the 'A domain controller for the Domain nitlc could not be contacted' message. It is really frustrating because I can ping them OK and they all worked together in a Workgroup envronment. I understand it may be a problem with the DNS server but I don't know much about this yet to be honest. I checked the DNS Server by running 'IPCONFIG'. Is that the correct DNS address? If someone could give me a step-by step guide I would be extremely grateful. I have spent 5-6 hours on this today already and I just can't take no more! Many thanks for your help in advance, Grant
