Comment:

I recently set up a domain and configured the user accounts. The users are logging into the domain from xp. The message "applying you personal setting" stays on the screen for about 4 minutes and logs on ok. What can I do to speed up the logon?

usual signs of a dns misconfiguration.

workstation dns entries; point to the ISP or the ms server?

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
