if a domain is running static 2000 then u must be able to assign a group to the admin group as u would a user.
!But be warned, this is a verry bad idea giving more then one user domain admin rights. Better approach would be to tailor your rights more presice..

Thanks Chris. Had tried just about everything else. Wouldn't add a group but have added the users I need to use the program that's been causing a problem. I guess I can work backwards from this point....
