DNS/WINS Problems

Comment:
We are having a bunch of odd problems with our SBS2003 Server that I think are all related.
Symptoms:
Client Node type (Broadcast) doesn't match what is being set by DHCP (Hybrid) Clients are not registering Reverse DNS unless "Use this connection's DNS suffix in DNS registration" is set Clients are not registering in WINS Netdiag/Dcdiag pass on DNS/DHCP/WINS/Domain Controller server Netdiag fails on clients/other servers with the "Redir and Browser" test Domain Controller is not the Master Browser Random network slowdowns, especially with Sharepoint mapped drives
Other Notes: RRAS is enabled, to allow a Cisco ASA5505 to authenticate VPN connections Clients are all Vista SP1 or XP SP3 There are 4 other servers (3x 2003, 1x 2008) Network has only 1 subnet, 1 domain

Workstations are properly getting their IP's from the DHCP server. Running an ipconifg, all values come back as expected except for the node type (mentioned in original post).
