Hi guys!
I have a little bit knowledge on MCSE platform.I have a question regarding DNS Server. My friend asked me a question. DNS server failed what type error u are getting? i)when local DNS server failed ii)if connected one on the Internet dns server? Till now i didn't work on dns server.
If you DNS server fails, Active Directory stops working. You can't resolve host names (except perhaps local names depending on how things are set up). You can't find services, like a domain controller for example. DNS is sort of like the phone book that helps computers and services be located.
