Hi

I am having more DNS problems, I read some tech notes from Microsoft and deleted the 2 folders under adsiedit/system/cn-microsoftdns. I have now only the Dc=rootdnsservers.

I think everything seem to be fine, it's configure to ad intergrated, replicate to all DNS server in AD. There is more folders in the reverse lookup zones now, eg. 0.168.192-in-add..., 0.in-addr.arpa, 127.in-addr.arpa, 255.in-add... which was not there before on DC1.

WE have 2 DC and I have setup dns on both, the second DNS/DC is pointed to DC1 for primary DNS. But why don't I get the same info when I click on DNS console on second DC to view the forward and reverse lookup for both DNS servers? Shouldn't both DC should be the same no matter which one I go to to look at DNS console for both DNS servers?

Thanks

DC2 don't show the cache on DNS but DC1 shows cache,

DC1 shows ..arpa in reverse lookup zone on DNS
and DC2 shows ...subnet on reverse lookup on DNS for DC1

Before it was identical, did I do something wrong?
