I setup my DHCP server and configured my DNS server. But is seems like I must have missed something. Prior to setting up DNS my win XP pro machines would be slow on login, due to the firewall being the dhcp server and resolving all dns queries. No that I have setup dhcp on my server instead, I wanted to fix my dns issue.
Login with my PC seems to be ok now. It's super fast! but for some reason internet surfing is slow if I can get connected that is. Sometimes I can't connect to the internet and when I can its a bit slow on new sites. I'm more concerned about why I can't connect sometimes.
Interface tab on dns is pointing to my server Forwarders are the 2 dns address of my ISP Every other tab is default
I have the forward look up zones and reverse as well. Dns seems to be working properly.

What other services is your DNS server providing? Is it a domain controller, too? How many other servers are providing the same services in your site? How many clients are in your network?
