Hi everyone :)
I just found myself stuck with a problem.
We have a Win 2k / 2/3 domain with 2 servers. The first is running win 2000 ADV and the second 2003 STD. The DNS zone is, let’s say iamlost.com. (This is our domain) we have a web site called www.iamlost.com as well we so have a A record in our server DNS pointing to the public IP of www.iamlost.com. Everything was working fine till now. But our Web dev started hosting elements from our web site on multiples web server. The main page is on for example 1.1.1.1 but loads of background stuff (pictures, database etc ) is hosted on another machine (IP: 69.69.69.69 for example)
I don’t know if you see me coming but our DNS points www. On 1.1.1.1 so internal users of the domain accessing the web site www.iamlost.com don’t have access to the stuff hosted on 69.69.69.69…
Would anybody have a idea of how I could solve this problem?
