DNS & AD woes!!

Hey guys and gals! Having trouble with my DNS server, here's the details from nslookup: can't find DNS server @ 192.168.1.100 (same IP addy as server) But, if I type mysite.com, I get this: Server: unknown address: 192.168.1.100 myserver.com primary server: OK! Responsible e-mail addy: OK! serial: 6 Refresh,, expire,, default TTl all OK!

Looks like you dont have an itnernal lookup. or a corrupt one.
What does the monitor test say in dns?
Both ok or not?

I tracked it down to a second NIC card I had installed on the server box for use later. after i installed it and booted up, I discovered the PCI slot it's in is faulty, the red power led light on the nic card wasn't working, so i just left it in for now.
I trascked down the "offending" IP address that AD said it was trying to reach, and it was an IP addy for the NIC Card!! So i yanked the card out, ran DCPROMO again an Badaboo badabing! I have NO DSN errors!
