you can't disable it, you can only uninstall it..

How can you uninstall it? I have checked and could not the see the way to do it. I'd like to use the version 4 or the 2 that comes with W2k3, i/o version 9.

ez, just remove the folder! dir should be - "Windows Media Player" and thats it... there realy is no "professional" way.
