BACKGROUND ========= I have two Windows 2k3 servers. The front server is setup as the Domain Controller and the back server is a domain member. The back end server has SQL server installed. The OLAP Administrators group shows the DOMAIN\Administrator as a member.
ISSUE ====== I am unable to add a domain account to the OLAP Administrators group: specifically, the only 'Locations' available are the local accounts. Why can't I see the DOMAIN (from this dialogue box). I believe that I should since the DOMAIN\Administrator account is already (somehow) a member of the OLAP Admin... group.
Why can't the "add members to OLAP admins dialog box" display the DOMAIN as a choice to select users (it only shows local machine accounts).
