Different Domain & Computer rights

Some applications that clients use requires Local Administrative rights to run (for example: Quickbooks). They have to be a member of the DOMAIN ADMINS group in order to give the local account Administrator rights. I don't want them to have that kind of access to the domain though. There has to be a way to set the Domain rights to "User" and have the Local Computer rights set to "Administrator". Any help is appreciated.
I'm afraid I don't know what you are talking about. You don't have to be a domain admin to give a local account administrator rights. You just have to be a local admin. Any account can be made a local admin.
If you are on a domain, why are you using local accounts. You can give the domain account local administrator permissions which sounds like it will solve your problem.
Create a local account on the specific WS that is identical to the domain account (username and password) make sure the password is the same. If it is a 2000/XP machine it should work.
I want it all to be server based though. I have too many machines with too many different possible users to go to each machine and add all the different users to them.

All you have to do is add the domain user in question, to the administrators group on the local machine, it is as simple as that
