Is using Visio the best way to draw a diagram of a server rack? Or is there something else that makes it eaiser to do?

I use visio too but for a quick, rough drawing, I use a pad of graphing paper and a ruler.....lol....I just make each row = 1U

In all honesty, I've set so many racks up that I don't even diagram them. I know what I have to put in them and how I'm going to do it without having to give it much (if any) thought anymore.........LOL

You should see my visio diagrams of our network though.............
