Hi. I am not a new person to the Windows game, but I have always had an "Achilles Heal" when it came to networking. I currently have 2 computers, one P4 1.6GHZ with 256MB Ram and using Windows ME/2K/XP/Server 2003. I have another, AMDK-7 500MHZ, 192MB RAM running XP. In the near future, I will be purchasing a computer to run as a Server. Currently we split our cable internet using a Linksys BEFSR41 router. I have found recently that it often fails after over a year of use. So I want to set up Server 03 to run as a DHCP server and possible a domain controller. I guess my question would be if the following equipment:
-P4 1.6GHZ 256MB RAM ME/2K/XP/03
-K7 500MHZ 192MB RAM 2K/XP
-Unknown soon to be server
-Linksys BEFSR41 router

can I set up the server as DHCP/Domain? Or do I need to purchase 2 network cards and do internet connection sharing from the Server or what? Like I said, I am a bit lost.
