DHCP vs Static IP Problem

I volunteer network admin for a combined school and church network. We have installed a SonicWall switch which does the content filtering and virus protection for both the school and church. The SonicWall also is our DHCP server. The school has a Windows 2003 server but the church side does not. My problem is this: If I have the server obtain the address via DHCP, I cannot specify the DNS server for my (school side) client machines. This make my client machines take FOREVER to login to the domain. If I make the server a static IP address, it will not pick up the DNS from the SonicWall therefore I cannot get to the Internet on the server.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I would really appreciate it.

Turn off dhcp on the sonicwall. Just uncheck the box for dhcp server and save the settings. Turn on dhcp at on the 2003 server. Configure MS DNS correctly and you are done.
Give a person a fish you feed them for a day. Ask a person to internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

The problem with that is the church and the school both share the sonicwall (serving dhcp) but I only want the school side to access the server. I'm trying to not have the server serve DHCP. Any other thoughts?
