Hi Guys,
I have setup several SBS 2003 servers lately but seem to encounter the same problem everytime. I have setup SBS 2003 with ISA server 2004 SP1 but after installing Windows 2003 server SP 1 and SBS 2003 Server SP 1 I have problems viewing the DHCP status through the DHCP console of my server. It tells me that the services are running but when I try to click on the server I get the following error message: Cannot find the DHCP server. (The error was: The remote procedure call failed and did not execute). I have researched the web but was unable to find anything. Please HELP !!!!

Use a port scanner(nmap for example) to check your server and see what services it is serving as well as other ip addresses on your lan. Make sure to run the tests from your server and from your client and compare results. Also 2003 server will not let you enable dhcp server if you already have an existing dhcp server running on your lan's ip address block so look for that first. sp1 in some older versions sets some services to run under the wrong ip address(s) after you run it and update. It also depends on how many nics that your computer had in it at the time of install. Give that a try and see if it gets you any closer to seeing your problem.
