Comment: I got set up DHCP, DNS and some other services on my server. I am unable to see on my DHCP table PC's on the network that have set up a statick IP. Is there any way I could see on my DHCP table as clients that are getting an IP from me even if they have a static IP? Thanks Trying to make some money so i can go back to my country for vacation

Reply: (edit)I don't understand your question. There are no dhcp tables. You can't give a dhcp address to a pc with a static ip assignment. So what are you asking? Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

Reply: (edit)Sorry Say for example there is a workstation on the network getting DHCP from the server but that workstation has a static IP. If i want to see what machines are getting ip from my server that workstation will not show as a PC that is on the network and using one of my Ip's. I need to know if there is a way how to see all the machines in the network even if they have static IP's Thanks Trying to make some money so i can go back to my country for vacation

Reply: (edit)"Say for example there is a workstation on the network getting DHCP from the server but that workstation has a static IP." If it has a static IP, how in the world is it doing anything with a DHCP server?! "I need to know if there is a way how to see all the machines in the network even if they have static IP's." If you have a domain, there should be computer accounts for every machine. You could also use DDNS, and make sure every computer is set to register their connection. Reply: (edit)Well thanks anyway for beeing an A$$. At the end the problem was not what you thought even if you "Tried". On Active directory Filter options, I had unselscted computers That is why I couldn't see the pc's connetcted to the domain. THanks Trying to make some money so i can go back to my country for vacation

Reply: (edit)Dude, when one person already pointed out that DHCP had nothing to do with it, you mentioned it again. Don't blame us for pointing out repeatedly that this has nothing to do with DHCP. Your posts made absolutely no sense; I can't completely understand any of them. And "a$$es" don't attempt to help people. Corn chips are no place for a mighty warrior!
