Hi!
Anyone know about a nice way to delete old user profiles data after the user has been deleted in AD Users and Computers? By "user profile data" i mean: \\server\profiles\userX

Thanks!

Well, Lars.. You must be a simple norwegian like me?:)

To be serious, it is not that easy. What I need is to delete both the users profile folders and the home folders of the users I've deleted in AD Users and Computers. And I want to do this automatically..that's the tricky part!?

Dont think you will be able to do this automaticaly using a tool in windows server 2003. The only way i can think of is to create a script but even then it will not be a easy problem.

And no i am not norwegian i am from amsterdam.

We use User ManagemeNT for creating users, home drives and profiles etc. It also has a feature to remove them all which we arent using yet.

Check the perms on the folder, if the SID can't be matched up then the account was deleted.

You can use xcacls to show the permissions in DOS.
