Hello, I am having issues with terminal server users being able to choose a default printer on the terminal server. The best way to explain this is with examples I guess.

User A wants his local default printer to be Printer A and his terminal default printer to be Printer A. User B wants his default local printer to be Printer A as well, but wants the terminal default printer to be Printer B.

The first problem was that User B kept having to change his default printer on the terminal server because it was always defaulting to Printer A. I unchecked the option in the Terminal Server Configuration that says default to main client printer. That seemed to fix his problem.

After that User A came along and said he wanted his local and terminal to be the same, but on the terminal it kept switching to some other printer at the bottom of his printer list when he would login next. So then I checked that box again and his problem was fixed.

So I guess what I'm looking for is a solution where each user can make their default printers on the local computer and the terminal server be whatever they want and make it stick. They all have their own machines and not everyone prints to the same printers. The local machines run Win 2000 and the server is Win 2003.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
