Comment:

I set up my default domain on IIS 6.0 for OWA on my Exch 2003 server but it is still making me key in a domain name. If I don't enter a domain name it defaults to the exchange server name instead of domain name.

Help!

Not tested this in exchange 2003/IIS6, however this works in ex2000/IIS 5.0

Warning: This method only works with basic authentication! Ensure you know the ins and outs of this, from a security standpoint.

In Exadmin expand the server/protocols/http/exchange virtual server/

right click the virtual directory where you run OWA from (Default Exchange)and select properties

Select the access tab and click authentication. Here you can select a default domain name.

If you want to go with this, it is important that you do the config though EXADMIN and not IISadmin or exchange will re-set the settings to defualt.
