Hi,
I am wondering how can I set a logon script to map a drive on another domain? WE have two domains in the building and want to have it so logon script will map a drive on other server. is there a way to have a script so it sets script then puts user name and password in? instead of hard mapping a users PC? staff moves around to different pcs all of the time. thanks >...

Two domains or two forests? Big difference. This isn't NT.
If same forest and user accounts exist in both domains you should not have an issue mapping drives.
If different forests you need to do a forest trust between them and then the above will also be true.
Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

well the thing is this. They dont want certain people to access the server were logging into, to use shares. So no forest at all, as Im not familiar with that and also person that is in charge of that thinks its not secure still and opens access. so when u go to , my network places and you see a PC and u map to it you do that after entering a user name and password on a domain. can u do this in log on script?
PS i have searched the internet hi and low

From what you describe you are doing peer to peer networking. You are not in a domain.
What you describe concerng accessing a pc's share and having to put in an account and password has nothing to do with a domain. It's because you are authenicating to that pc only and its checking your credencials since they don't match the ones you logged into your pc with.
There are no logon scripts in peer to peer networking. You need active directory to have logon scripts.
But maybe we aren't on the same page. If you really have domains what server OS are they on and how do you access them? What are the domain names?
Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search
