When I go into my Event Viewer on Windows Server 2003 and attempt to open the files within and view the logs, I get an error message that reads. "Unable to complete the operation, Access Denied" I assume the Event Log has become corrupted, but I have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas?

I would think that you don't have access to the files rather than anything else.
You can use sfc.exe /scannow with the cd in to test some stuff.
