connecting two networks

Hi,
We have a windows based network comprising of 100+ computers, the domain controllers and the fileserver machines are win2k3 servers.
Because of the space shortage, the expansion of the office is not possible in the same building. It's few hundred meters far. Setting up a new domain and creating all the users is not a feasible option, as users will be moving from one building to another, so they need access to the data (and their home directories) from both the buildings.
Please suggest what is the best possibility, VPN is beyond our capacity and a wire from one building to another is also not possible.

The only option left to you is a wireless point-to-point setup then.

rajoo_sh why are you boxing yourself in a corner? No vpn? What are you thinking? Are you telling us you don't have internet services? A site to site vpn is the way to go in your situation. Good luck on the wireless. We couldn't even go across the street reliably.

Call up your ISP and get a truely connected VPN service. That is silly. I've done the same thing but over a little more distance, it works.. and works well without breaking the wallet.
Holy Wow.
