You could go to a run box and type:

"get out to the internet"

press enter

Sorry; couldn't resist.

Is the LAN connected to the internet? Via another PC? Can yours see the rest of the LAN?

Static IPs?

No its not connected to the LAN it has a direct connection with the outside. I set it up as a DC, must understand this is my first time setting up a 2003 server from scratch so some of the questions may sound knaive.

Go to add/remove in the control panel and to add/remove windows components. From here there is an internet explorer security addin that may need to be added. its been a while since I did it or I would tell you the exact name, sorry, I have done it a million times so I just do it rather than read it. also, make sure you define a home page in IE.

I went to the Add/remove Components IE is checked however it displays O.O MB, which leads me to belive that there is nothing in it. Also its named Internet Explorer Ehanced Security Configuration. What could I have missed?

You check the box next to it (enhanced Security) and click next to install it. This is probably all you need to do. Let me know.

Well that box is checked and it still says 0.0MB. I think the problem lies in the configuration in Forwarding, I haven't been able to put my finger on it yet.

Once added and installed, the size should change.
