Hi,
I recentyly installed Windows Server 2003 R2 trial version on my Server.
I tried to connect to the internet with my modem it's a D-Link DSL-G604T, info here:
http://www.dlink.com.au/Products.as...
or here:
http://www.dlink.com.au/tech/defaul...
I tried to use the modem on Windows Server 2003 and I can't seem to connect to the internet.
I tried going to 10.1.1.1 and it would just display. "Page cannot be found"As far as I know you should just be able to connect to your computer and and you should
be able to connect to the internet automatically, without configuring anything.I contacted D-Link and asked the modem supports server 2003, and they said,
"Yes this modem will work with all of the Microsoft Operating systems that supports the TCP/IP protocol."I am trying to run my ASP.NET 2.0 website of the server, it has IIS setup. And I already I have broadband.
So, what other equipment do I need other than the server and the D-Link DSL-G604T modem? Can someone please help me configure these settings, and get me connected to the internet and have my website accessable?
I would be greatly appreciate your help. Thanks
Regards,
Mark
