Right, I have recently installed win 2003 which is great. I then went ahead and installed ISA server with all the service packs and updates etc...
The network I am trying to create should be v simple and straight forward: I have a cable modem hooked to one of the network cards on the server which is set to auto detect IP and it works fine, I have enabled Internet connection on that card.
On the 2nd one i have specified an ip of 192.168.0.1 and then hooked that to a netgear 4 port hub. On the client machine I have set the IP tp 192.168.0.6 .
I have enabled all rules to allow all trafic etc on the ISA Management. I messed around with this and I had internet connection working on both machines for about 2 days. But obviously as this was not secure I turned on the firewall and thats when the problems started. Now I cannot see the net through the client and now I cant even ping the server ( I used to be able to do this).
Has anyone got any ideas what Im doing wrong>? Thanks in advance.
