Hi, I have a new weird issue with my server. Until today, things were fine and I was able to use resources and to access shares on the server. Today, all the sudden everything stops responding. When I try to access resources on the server from a workstation, the computer freezes. I can ping workstation to server (no problem) I can ping workstations from the servers (no problem). I can't access the server from the workstation to the server, everything freezes. Even if I try to remote desktop locally, it works but I don't go far, it stops loading the page after I enter the Password. Lastly, if I try to access windows network and access share files from the server to the workstations it works like a charm. Any clues on what causing it? I appreciate any help.

What does your event logs say? That's where I'd start.
Holy Wow.

So I did some more work today to see whats causing it. I found out that the DHCP scoop on the server might be related somehow or its the whole server going down. If I delete the scoop on the server, and let my sonic wall provide the addresses, I can access the network drives on the server; however, as part of my troubleshooting, I tried to dis join one of the workstations from the domain. I did, and now I can join it back to the domain. I have included some pics from the event viewer on the server. http://downloads.pseesolutions.com/...

I think it would be more towards the DNS, than DHCP. The sonic is pointing to what server for it's DNS, itself? I would take a good look at your DNS settings, especially forward zones. Make sure all your pointers are correct.
