Computer Account Inactivity

Hi All, I work for a private high school and we recently migrated our domain from NT to AD 2003. I was wondering if there are any default settings/policies reguarding computer accounts that might cause a problem as the majority of our systems will be shut down over the summer vacation. I seem to remember running into something in the past about domain based systems having there accounts expire after a certain period of inactivity. Maybe I'm worried about nothing? Any thoughts appreciated.

I think, when a computer joins to a domain, they generate passwords and synchronise it with a domain controller. The computer resets the password every 30 days. If the computer misses the synchronisation with the domain controller, it no longer has a client/server trust relationship. In that case, users can not log in to the domain using the computer. This might happens if you leave the workstations off for more than 30 days. To fix this, simply reset the computer accounts in AD users and computers, and rejoin the workstations to the domain. I hope this info is correct and will help you.
