COM+ Event Error

Hi everybody, I'm having a problem with my server. Just today for some reason I've been getting a slew of errors. A couple of apps that wern't set to start up with windows crashed (things like half-life server that isn't even in msconfig). My network adapters (Velocity Gigabit and D-Link DWL-520) aren't showing up anymore in my network connections folder but are in device manager. Consequently, I can only use IE but my mail client can't resolve its pop3 host. And the worst: the COM+ Event System won't start up all the way. It's stuck on 'Starting' in the services manager, and I can't stop it or restart it. I can't look at its dependencies because the RPC server is unavailable. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've got SP1 installed and I'm updated to the most recent updates. Please help :(
