Change global catalog Server

OS: Windows 2003 Server
CPU/Ram: Intel P4, 1GB DDR

Hello,

I have a Windows 2000 Server and a windows 2003 Server. The Windwos 2000 Server is the global catalog Server and i want to make the Windows 2003 Server to the global catalog Server. My question is how can I do this?

This is pretty basic admin so make sure you understand WHAT you are doing, not just HOW to do it.

Go into AD Sites and Services, Sites, select the site you want, expand Servers, expand the server, right click on NTDS Settings, select Properties and check, or uncheck, the box for the GC.
