I'm asking a lot of basic questions, excuse me for that please :)
I tried the shadow command also, and it didnt work. In Terminal Services Configuration, I've unchecked the "Require User's Permission" checkbox also, and "Level of Control" is set to "Intract with the session"... The settings are the same for the particular user that I'm trying to take over its session also...
Isnt that all I need? When I right click on the logged on user in Terminal Services Manager, the "Remote Control" option is grayed out. why is that? what am I doing wrong?

MrPolite,
In order to take control of, or shadow I believe as well, a Terminal Services session, you have to be running in a terminal services session as well, as it will disconnect your screen and connect you to the person you are controlling/shadowing.
So... Go to Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, Remote Desktop Connection, connect to yourself and try the same thing you already tried -- but from the Remote Desktop Connection you are in.

yes, you have to be already using remote desktop/terminal services to take over ANY other user logged on, the person who is physically connected/logged into the machine locally cannot have his/her session taken over and cannot take over any other session, only users who have logged on via remotely can do so, (if you wanted to view the administrator of the computers local login you would then have to use a 3rd party program such as VNC)
