can't log in after windows update

I just started a brand new Dell power edge 2600. went through setup process, everything perfect.
1st thing I did is Windows update, since the server just came out of the box and has no updates. anyways after the updates, the server rebooted and now I can't login as the Administrator!!! I'm 100% sure of my password ( I tried it with caps lock) but with no luck!!!!!!! this is driving me nuts. any idea please??
