Can't join WINXP to a domain

I can't join a Windows XP SP2 client to a Windows 2003 Server domain. I have given a correct password also. It says that access is denied. Please help.

You must use an account that has the privilege of joining a computer to a domain. The domain admin account has those rights already. You can also delegate another account to be able to do this as well.

If this is home version of xp it can't join a domain by MS design.

I am the enterprise admin but still it is not joining the domain. It is the Professional edition of Windows XP SP2

if this happens in a particular system, please check wether tcp/ip has been corrupted or not. remove and add tcp/ip from network connection properties and try out.
