Hi,
I've added a new file server to our network, but when I try to set up file permissions, I can only see local users/groups. The domain is not available as one of the "locations" to add users/groups from. Our network has 2 domains, and I have joined the new server to both.

If anyone can suggest anything to diagnose/fix this problem, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you,
Shelley

A server can't be on two domains at the same time.

What you describe is a standalone server and not a member server.

Example of Oxymoron:

Person who is pro life and anti sex education.
Education is key to prevention. Prevent conception you prevent abortion.

Abstinence training clearly isn't working.
