I have a small network connected via HUB. There is a server and a few workstations.
The workstations use the server as the default gateway to the Internet.
The server is Windows Server 2003.
All workstations can reach the Internet but none of them can FTP out.
However, the server can FTP out so something is blocking it.
There is no firewall and the DSL router is forwarding ports 20 & 21. It has worked in the past but isn't working now for some reason.
I feel the configuration of the Server 2003 has to do with this, but I don't know what.
What can I do to troubleshoot this problem?

You say DSL router. Do you mean DSL modem? or is the modem also acting as a router, or is it a DSL modem connected to a router, then connected to the server? You say you have ports 20,21 forwarded. Where are they forwarded at and where are they forwarding too?

I do have an ISA server but the FTP is not being blocked.
Is there anything else?
I have not installed the FIREWALL version of the ISA Server, only the Proxy Server and Cache.

I have a DSL modem. Sorry about that. I have it connected to a router.
On the router, I have ports 20 & 21 forwarded to the server so when people FTP from the outside, it goes to the server.
I don't think the forwarding has to do with FTP from inside the network, but only from the outside.
