I have Win XP connected to high speed internet through a wireless card. I have just installed WIN 2k3 server on seperate desktop PC connected(cross over cable) to the laptop running win xp. I was able to browse the internet just fine on the server, until I installed DNS, VPN(remote access) & Active Directory. Now I can't browse the internet no more!!! I tried to assign static IP addr's & pinging both pc's but nothing is working. I can only browse internet through the Laptop running Win XP. What should I do to get browsing back on the server??? Thanks.

Well you might find your AD Domain will no longer works, as the server is no longer looking to itself for DNS queries for the domain, but instead looking to the laptop running ICS. You might want to try assigning a static IP again, and in DNS management on the server, putting the IP address of the laptop in as a DNS forwarder.
