Can't Browse Network or any machine

On a Windows 2003 managed network, I can't browse the network or access any shared resources. The strange thing here is I can ping all online machines only with IPs, but hostnames are denied, even for server.
My machine has Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, as well.

This sounds like a DNS problem if you're not getting name resolution so that's where I'd start looking, in your DNS server settings. It could be a case of the wrong DNS server address or bad host records.
