Using Windows XP Pro workstation using Remote Desktop Connection to log onto a Windows Server 2003 server. I ran a .cmd script to map a network drive on the server to a shared folder on my computer, and now I cannot unmap it. It displays in Windows Server as "Disconnected Network Drive" with a drive letter, and seems to be working perfectly normally (I can open files on the network drive, etc.). If I try disconnecting it in Windows I get a message saying there are no drives to disconnect. I tried a .cmd script net use z: /delete /y but that did not work either.
I cannot reboot this server and it is in a remote location so I can't physically get to it either. I did some Googling on this problem but did not find any answers that did not involve rebooting the server.

It was only two day ago that I noticed similar error message, I normally write my own scripts and have no problems but in this case I found a new Microsoft tool I think it was ADSI Scriptomatic www.microsoft.com/downloads and when I tried to disconnect, sure thing a messaged popped up saying "there were no drives to disconnect" I restarted the computer and the drive was no longer there. Was the drive still there when you restarted your Server? (Refresh didn't work for me) Certainly, if you create a login script it should show up every time the users of that Group or the OU login.
