We have three domain controllers in our environment and two of them are reporting errors in the event viewer. One of them reports:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: LicenseService
Event Category: None
Event ID: 213
Date: 11/14/2007
Time: 3:16:32 PM
User: N/A
Computer: ADMIN002
Description:
Replication of license information failed because the License Logging Service on server bos-dc01.commerce could not be contacted. The other one reports:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: LicenseService
Event Category: None
Event ID: 203
Date: 11/15/2007
Time: 6:02:02 AM
User: N/A
Computer: BOS-DC02
Description:
The user data could not be saved to LLSUSER.LLS. The data is the error code.Whenever I try to stop and disable the service on all three domain controllers, I find later that the service is started and set to 'Automatic'! I have also gone into AD Sites and Services -> Default-First-Site-Name and removed License Site Settings.
I have no idea what forces the service to start up! Could it be something in group policy? If so, where can I find it?

If you are not going to use this service anymore you have to uninstall it. Otherwise if you are still using it, I don“t get the idea of stopping the service!!, can you explain a bit more what problem causes this event in your infrastructure?
