We just upgraded our server to Win 2003 Server. Since then, I have not been able to copy some files to the server from my Win XP Pro machine -- I get the message "Cannot Copy File: Path is too deep." Can anyone tell me how I can remedy this? Thanks!

As a guess, shorten the path name ie the folder names, you dont want a file called "the quick brown fox jumed over the lazy dog.doc" in a folder called "the quick brown fox jumed over the lazy dog" which was in a shared area called, yup, you guessed it "the quick brown fox jumed over the lazy dog" remember the long file name length, 255 characters, as we found out at our site, this would include the path as well.

i dont have long file names and the path is not deep either (two folders deep) and I get the same message now and then!
And the speed is like 100Kb/s instead of 100mbit :(
and printing via the laserjet attached to the win2003 machine is also dead slow :(

for the speed issues:
1. check your hub, router, switch and make sure that they are set for 100/full and not 10 or auto negotiate. then check your adapter and make sure they are set for 100/full not 10 or auto. if your hub, router, switch cannot do 100/full then use the max setting on those and change your adapters to match those settings (this includes the half/full settings). if you have a high rate of collisions, try half duplex. stay away from auto negotiation. has to negotiate every packet and slows things up.
2. check drivers for adapters. even some nics are a pain sometimes. stick to popular nics.
3. do u run virus software? may need to disable software while transferring files. try a test and see if this helps.
4. fyi - i heard XP with SP1 deliberately slows down file transfers.
5. check out this link too:
