Can not install adminpak

When I try to install the w2k3 adminpak I get an error that the setup failed. When I look in the logs I get the following error “windows xp sp1 or windows 2003 server is needed to install the adminpak.” I am using w2k3 ent ed so I don’t know why it is doing this. XP was on this machine but has been rebuilt with server 03. Anyone else have this problem? Can it be fixed?

Try the Service Pack 1 version of the admin tools if you have Service Pack 1 installed:
