I'm working with Active Directory, i'm trying to block the msn messenger, in the policies editor, User configuration, administrative templates, system, do not run especific windows aplications... i entered msnmsgr.exe... and it works! the user cannot use his MSN mesanger. however, if the user change the process name, he can use the msn again... how can i solve this? Get a copy of the exe for the program, and stick it on the machine you're using GPO editor, browse for the exe, done. You can then remove the exe from the machine. OR... Use a third party app to generate the hash. TECH-NO-LOGICAL ROMANCE! http://www.homestarrunner.com/tgs12.html
