I am working on a login script for our users.

Currently I have one line that copies a file to the user's documents, by using c:\documents and settings\%username%\blah\blah\blah

Some of our user's My Docs folders are not named by their username, some are named by just their first name.

For example:
documents and settings\j.smith\
for some users would be:
documents and settings\john

This is due to the company changing its user naming scheme some time ago.

Is there a way to get a variable that simply pulls the first name from active directory?

ex: documents and settings\%fname%\etc.etc
