I have an issue with Backup Exec 11d on a SBS 2003 server. In the selections list, it doesn't give you an option to expand the mailboxes in the information store to select/deselect specific mailboxes. No errors are reported and the backup job does successfully backup the Information Store. If you go to the "Restore" tab, you can actually expand the Information Store and see individual mailboxes and mail items to restore, but just not in the selections list of the backup job itself.

Things I've done so far are;
- Verify the backup account is unique in name and is the member of proper groups and delegated Exchange Administrator(the backup job is successful, after all) according to Symantec support articles.
- The previous "tech" had Outlook installed on the Exchange server. I removed it and recreated or replaced the mapi dll's per Symantec's articles.
- Verified services are using the unique backup account and the BE interface is using that account. Account credentials test successfully.
- Verfied Remote Agent has option checked to publish information about the server.
- Verified backup account has mailbox and has sent/received one email and is not hidden from address list (the backup job does run successfully).

I've tried a bunch of things, rebooted and restarted services and still I can't get the selections list to show individual mailboxes and items. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Assume that I already did an Internet search.
