Hi,
Do you know any software that can be used
on windows 2003 server to back up and
restore remotely. Note: Restore means, I
intent to restore the whole os and not just files
or folders alone. the whole os including
registry settings. One more things, is that once when i restore,
the new files created after back up was taken
should be deleted and only those files backed
up should be restored.Thank You

Acronis true image can do that. Or Symantec Backup Exec System Restore. There all imaged based DR recovery solutions that allow you to restore the OS and whatever backed up data remotely. Theres even a few Open Source utilities that can do that although im not sure if they have the ability to do remotely restore.

Like scurlaruntings said: Acronis or Symantec Backup Exec. Symantec has a little better support for tape drives if you ask me, Acronis is cheaper I think, and it's really easy to use and supports most other things very well. Personally I love Acronis.
