After a certain period of inactivity, say 1 minute, how to automatically lock the computer. Please do not reply by suggesting "Configure your screen saver" or run "rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation" in Task Scheduler

You're asking for help, yet telling us what NOT to suggest? Use the OS inherent features. Or Google and find something else that meets with your approval.

Since you say you won't use the two most common and easily-accessed methods of doing it, why don't you start by telling us WHY you won't use those methods. Then we might be able to understand your requirements and give you some useful advice.
Until then, you're just asking a question that you already have two answers to.

sarcastic answer: hire a guy to press ctrl-alt-del every 65 seconds. That will fulfill 100% of your stated requirements:
1) automatically lock the workstation after about 1 minute of inactivity
2) NOT use screensaver or "rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation"
There, problem solved!

I really don't understand why you don't want to use the secure screensaver feature.
It's the most common method for achieving what you want.
The only other method of applying auto station locks is via Group Policy in Active Directory for domain security.
No good to you on one Windows XP PC.
