auditing problem

Hi i want to disable any auditing on my DC,its a DC for a child domain,even thought i have blocked inheritance and removed any auditing form the default and DC policy i stll get a lot of messages in the security portion of event viewer.Thanks in advance

Did you make the changes in the Local Security Settings or did you use gpedit.msc ?

I think it has to be done in Local Security Settings.
