Assign share permissions to groups

hi

when i create a group and add the different users to that group in AD, and put that group in the sharing permission and security permissions it still says "access denied"

when you added the group to the share what permissions did you apply?

did you assign the same group above the share folder and deny access?
If so, did you check the box for inheritance?
