apps not registering during install

When I install my programs on a new windows 2003 server, I get an error cannot register ???.ocx, I am logged on as Administrator. What is stopping me from installing and registering my apps.

Isn't ocx part of directx? I think you have to enable directx and all of that multimedia stuff in 2003 with some command lines. Search a few post back for it. Might check all your multimedia hardware too. 2003 comes shutdown on that game stuff.
